This is Brian's first album - very spontaneous and with a wonderful mixture of jazz and classical influences. It features a variety of classical, semi-classical, pop, ragtime and nostalgic favorites mainly from the 30s and 40s including The Warsaw Concerto Medley, As Time Goes By, I'll Be Seeing You, Georgia, The Rhapsody In Gershwin and others.

Pieces Of Gold features fabulously creative and extended piano and vocal renditions of 20s and 30s favorites such as Malaguena, I'm In the Mood For Love, I've Got "a bunch of" Rhythm and The Rainbow Medley ( featuring "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" - based on Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu). Get ready for some wild creativity as Brian takes off in some of these numbers in a way not often heard on typical pop piano albums. A few selections feature accompaniment of bass, drums and strings.

Vocalist, Entertainer Judy Alexander sounds like a blend of Vickie Carr, Lisa Minnelli and Judy Garland with her powerful and dynamic singing style. Together with Brian's wonderful piano playing AND singing, this album is a very enjoyable listening experience. The songs in this album come from a live show that starred both Judy and Brian called: "From Garland To Gershwin and More" which garnered rave reviews. The album features -among others - Swanee, Over The Rainbow, I Got Rhythm (vocal version by Brian), The Man That Got Away, Summertime and even a taste of Brian's version of the Cowardly Lion!
